Hülya Keser began her musical education at the age of 6 in Russe (Bulgaria) with Nadya Slavcheva and from the age of 10 with Diana Boteva. Between 1989-1990 she studied at the Mimar Sinan Conservatory in Istanbul with Prof. Hülya Tarcan. During the period 1990- 1997 she continued her education with Prof. Ersin Onay and Namik Sultanoff at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts in Bilkent University in Ankara.

Hülya won the first prize in the Sofia Piano Competition, third prize in the Svetoslav Obretenov Piano Competition and played 1992 at the Hague UNICEF Festival in The Netherlands. She has also participated in master classes held by Hüseyin Sermet, Hans-Peter and Volker Stenzl. 

In 1997 she began her masters degree on piano education at the Rotterdam Conservatory under the tutelage of Prof. Aquilles Delle-Vigne supported by the Turkey Ministery of the Culture and Dr. Nejat F. Eczacıbaşı Foundation Music Scholarship. In same year she won the first prize as a piano duo with her sister Sevinç Keser in De Doelen Music Competition Rotterdam. She graduated as a Performing Musician in Pianoforte in December 2001. Between 2002-2004, Hülya Keser advanced her musical skills at the Brabants Conservatory with Prof. Jan Gruithuyzen and graduated with "Cum Laude". Since 2004 she has been providing lessons at the Brabants Conservatory.

Hülya Keser gives master classes and performs as a soloist, duo piano and chamber musician around the world and recently formed the Ayur trio with Adelina Hasani and Paul Uyterlinde.
